A quick-turnaround holiday greeting for a global audience, made with stock — to not look like stock. I collaborated with overseas teams to ensure we had a language mix that would satisfy everyone. The biggest challenge came as a surprise: troubleshooting complex special characters that didn’t display as gosh-darn intended.

To help the company draw qualified candidates, I collaborated with the Director of Branding to conceptualize, produce, and direct a piece that showcased the breadth of our teammates’ day-to-day work. I was involved in all parts of creating the final piece, including:

  • Scheduling and managing shoots in multi-state locations — including hotels, restaurants, city streets, and a manufacturing facility
  • Managing team member scheduling in order to place as many teammates as possible into shots relevant to their authentic work experience
  • Managing a multi-thousand dollar budget for travel, rental equipment, crew, and props

Developing & Documenting Standard Shoot Process
Project Management

I helped create and document an efficient, replicable process to streamline future interior photoshoots. My role included:

  • Pre-interviewing qualified photographers and creating a database of their locations, shooting styles, day rates, etc.
  • Writing thorough checklists, timelines, and email templates for pre- through post-production
  • Developing a cloud-based, collaborative spreadsheet to develop final shot lists and shooting schedules — which included details like room-by-room lighting needs and crowd waiver requirements
  • Coordinating with (and sending thank-you notes to!) hotel staff and stylists in order to keep production on schedule and to avoid guest disruption
  • Creating guidelines for digital asset management, including image selection, retouching, naming, tagging, and organization

  • Scheduling and managing multi-state sets, including a Chicago soundstage and multiple areas of the Columbus hotel
  • Developing a questionnaire then short-listing audio clips from filmed interviews to develop the final flow of voiceover and shot sequencing
